Mission Statement

The Coal Valley Illinois, Coal Valley Township Veterans Memorial Park Committees mission is to design, equip and maintain a park to honor our community's military veterans who have lived in Coal valley and Coal Valley township at some time or who have family connections to our communities and who have honorably served our country. This includes any period of service in the armed forces in which the individual is currently serving or has been honorably separated from active or inactive service. Beginning back to the American Revolution.

It's important that we promote patriotism and to provide recognition to our veterans of all the Armed services past, present and future.

The goal of this committee is to raise funds and to accept donations to support the establishment of a Veterans Memorial Park to further honor all veterans as a non-for-profit organization.
